Residual portfolio purchasing

We buy merchant residual portfolios.

Martin Digital Assets buys merchant processing residuals from ISOs, sub-ISOs and independent agents. Turn the monthly income from your book into one payment, on terms you can read and understand.

Why sell to us

Payments people buying from payments people.

We know the business

Our company POS Outlet sets up merchant accounts and card terminals, so we understand how a book is built and what keeps merchants processing.

A clear, written offer

We show you how we valued your portfolio and put the price and terms in writing. If it isn’t the right fit, no hard feelings.

Kept private

We’ll sign an NDA before you share merchant-level reports. Your book and your numbers stay between us.

How it works

From first email to closing.

Send a summary

Tell us your processors, roughly how many merchants you have and your average monthly residual.

Share your reports

After the NDA, send recent residual reports, ideally the last 12 months, and your ISO or agent agreement.

Get a written offer

We review the book and send an offer that spells out the price and the terms.

Close

We sign a purchase agreement, work through any approval your processor or ISO requires, then complete the transfer and your payment.

What we look at

How we value a portfolio.

Every book is different. These are the things that move the number most.

Residual history
How your monthly residuals have trended over the past year or more.
Attrition
How many merchants close or leave each year, and how quickly new ones replace them.
Merchant mix
Industries, average processing volume and how much of the book is high-risk.
Concentration
How much of your income comes from your largest few merchants.
Your agreement
Who owns the residuals, whether they’re vested and what it takes to assign them to a buyer.
Processors
Which processors and platforms your merchants are on.

Questions

Before you reach out.

How do you price a portfolio?

We look at your net monthly residual, how steady it has been, attrition, merchant mix and the terms of your agreement. The offer explains how we got to the number.

Do I need approval from my processor or ISO?

Often, yes. Many agreements require consent before residuals can be assigned to someone else. Send us your agreement and we’ll tell you what applies to yours.

What do I need to get started?

Just a short summary: your processors, about how many merchants you have and your average monthly residual. Reports and your agreement come after we sign an NDA.
